The place is very nice and big. The ambiance gives a luxurious feel. The staff are nice and really accommodates the big crowd of people. The price is reasonable and they have many promos and discounts. There are many selection of food and there are some that are made to order upon request. I liked their steak section, seafood grill station, sushi section and dessert section. We had a great experience.
I have visited a few other branches of Vikings resto but this place at SM The Block feels rather not normal because you will get the feeling that food and beverages are 'restricted' to some extent and some menus found in other branches are not found here. Some good menus are depleted easily more than the others, but you will get the feeling that staff turn a blind eye on them or rather Management intentionally don't go for the refill as if waiting that less attractive or less desirable menus are depleted. It seems that there is a cat and mouse game here in the refilling the menu activity but it is what it is.
I recently visited vikings here with mixed feelings. While the elegant ambiance added a touch of sophistication, the overall experience was dampened by the crowded atmosphere. The taste was average, and nothing stood out as particularly exceptional. For the price point and the restaurant's aim for elegance, I expected more in terms of culinary creativity and execution. The restaurant I visited offered an elegant ambiance that set the stage for a refined dining experience. However, the crowded environment and average quality of the food prevented it from reaching its full potential. If you're looking for a visually pleasing setting and don't mind the noise and lackluster cuisine, this restaurant might be worth a visit.
